Rehab Rounds brings together everyone involved in a sport horse's rehabilitation to discuss real cases. This multi-disciplinary approach is built on mutual respect and understanding, and it lets professionals learn from each other's successes and failures, benefiting both the patients and the equine industry as a whole.

Each month, IGNITE hosts a Zoom webinar for the Rehab Rounds session. A case is presented by a volunteer. This is followed by discussion with our topic experts and then Q&A with the audience.

The case is anonymized, prepared, and presented to the group according to the following format:

• Identify the presenting complaint clearly

• Describe the key points of assessment

• Identify the major diagnostic tools employed to achieve a diagnosis

• Elaborate on the treatment, rehabilitation approach, and the outcome (so far)

The moderator oversees the meeting and guides the discussion, ending the meeting after one hour with a short summary and take-home message(s).

The recordings are available to watch on-demand on the membership page. Our Rehab Rounds member portal currently hosts recordings from 2021 onward.

The IGNITE Rehab Rounds are accredited by RACE for North American veterinarians, by IODc for Dutch Equine Veterinarians and by NVFD for Dutch Equine Physiotherapists. For accreditation you need to be present at the live presentation and discussion on Zoom.

One hour of IGNITE Rehab Rounds equals 1 CE credit.
