The perfect membership for those wanting access to all high level educational content, RACE accredited CE, outcome-driven research, and the unique and passionate community that makes IGNITE special. You don't need to be a vet to enjoy this membership. In fact, We serve the whole team around the athlete.
Student members gain access to our on-demand video library and live events (online and in-person) at lower rates with proof of student status. Each individual is eligible for the student rate for a total of 4 years. This membership is reserved for students, but is open to students of various equine related studies, not only veterinary medicine.

Dr. Peck received a BS degree in Exercise Science from Kansas State University, a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and PhD from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. His clinical expertise involves treating sports and orthopedic related conditions, in addition to providing physical therapy for Native Americans in an outpatient medical facility governed by the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Dr. Peck is past President of the Animal Physical Therapy Special Interest Group of the APTA Orthopedic Academy of Physical Therapy (2013-19), and current SIG liaison to the World Physiotherapy Animal PT Network. He is a core instructor in the University of Tennessee’s Certification Program in Equine Rehabilitation and collaborates with local veterinarians to treat canine clientele. Dr. Peck has presented on the topics of equine rehabilitation, including both horse and rider biomechanics nationally and internationally. He serves on the editorial board for a peer reviewed publication from Elsevier entitled, “Journal of Equine Rehabilitation”. Dr. Peck is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical therapy at Creighton University, Omaha, NE, where he teaches topics in clinical exercise physiology, health & wellness, and political advocacy for PT practice. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Lauren is a Professor of Equine Orthopedic Surgery in the Department of Clinical Sciences at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her DVM, Large Animal Surgery Residency, and PhD at Cornell University under the mentorship of Dr. Lisa Fortier and Dr. Douglas Antczak. She is board certified in both the American College of Veterinary Surgery and the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Lauren’s research focuses on stem cell immunology, use of biologic therapies to treat musculoskeletal injuries and diseases, and advancing equine rehabilitation protocols.

Dr. Beau Whitaker grew up on a family farm in Tennessee before acquiring a B.S. in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Upon graduation, he completed an internship at Arizona Equine Hospital and then worked at the 6666’s Ranch in Guthrie, Texas before moving to Salado where he has practiced since 2007. Beau is a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner and focuses his work at Salado Equine Medical Center in the areas of sports medicine, regenerative therapies, and clinical research. He conducts equine product development research and has contributed multiple publications. Beau serves on multiple boards for companies and organizations and is a western pencil artist and sculptor. In 2022 he was named the AAEP Good Hands Veterinarian of the Year and PATH International Veterinarian of the Year for his work with therapeutic riding centers.
