Knowledge Transfer

Our approach to education is inclusive of all professionals around the athlete and across disciplines and species. We only make progress when the whole team understands how to get there.

Inclusive Community

With emphasis on a cross-discipline translational approach to Sports Medicine, athletic career longevity, and pre and rehabilitation, we highlight the science, data, and real world applications of treatments, emerging technologies, and management techniques.

Gain Practical Tools

Cutting edge treatments without meaningful outcome data make It challenging for clinicians to prove their results and for owners to make educated decisions. Our research initiatives generate the real-world safety and efficacy insights that help to guide treatment decisions.

Driven by Real World Outcomes

We’re just getting started. As our community grows, IGNITE seeks to continue to address the unmet needs in our industry and deliver evidence-inspired health and performance improvements to every equine athlete.

From Our Community

  • “The IGNITE meetings keep getting better every year. All of the Summit presentations were good or excellent. Some of the shorter and right-to-the-point talks were especially good. I find the species comparisons interesting and I’m looking forward to next week’s sessions!”

—Bob Racich, DVM, Lake View Equine Clinic

  • "I thought the From the Ground Up conference was stellar—so well organized. The theme of collaboration and knowledge-sharing was refreshing and exceeded my expectations. It is this spirit of community that will elevate equine sports to excellence and better serve both horses and the humand that love them. As a sports therapist and rider, I’m thrilled to be a part of IGNITE."

    — Ceiridwen Terrill, PhD, Prime Performance Equine Sports Therapy

  • "I think much of our knowledge, and how we train is antiquated. I remember learning about using lactate testing to train a few years ago. Other sports and countries had been doing this for years. We can’t afford to be formulaic or limited in our knowledge. Sports have made huge strides in how they train their athletes, and I am excited to have access to experts from many fields, and around the world, sharing their knowledge and insight. It is an opportunity not to be missed."

    — Asia Vedder, Upper Level Eventing Competitor, Vedder Ranch
