IGNITE Terms and Conditions
Effective date: October 22, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Equine High Performance Sports Group, doing business as IGNITE for equine athletes ("IGNITE," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of igniteforequineathletes.com, member areas, on-demand video libraries, live and online events, newsletters, and related services (the "Services").
By creating an account, purchasing a membership or event registration, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a clinic, school, or other organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase from us.
You must give accurate, current information when you register, including your profession and credentials if you request CE credit, and keep it up to date.
Memberships are individual. You may not share your login, allow others to view member content through your account, or create accounts for others. We may suspend accounts that show signs of shared use.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at nicole@igniteforequineathletes.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Group or institutional access (for example, for a practice, university, or partner) is available only under a separate written agreement with IGNITE.
3. Memberships, Billing, and Renewals
Plans
IGNITE offers the plans described on our Memberships page, currently:
Starter (Free): Selected sponsored content such as Rehab Rounds, newsletters, and event announcements.
Student ($95 per year): On-demand library and member pricing for events, with proof of student status.
Professional ($495 per year): Full on-demand library, member pricing for in-person and online events, and CE or certification where available.
Plan contents, features, and prices may change. Benefits described as "coming soon" are not guaranteed. We regularly add content, and we may also retire, replace, or update individual videos or resources.
Student plan
You must be currently enrolled in an equine-related, veterinary, or allied program and provide proof of enrollment when asked. Each person may hold the Student plan for a total of four years. If you stop being a student, your plan will move to Professional at the next renewal unless you cancel.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe through our membership platform (MemberSpace or Squarespace). By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the plan price, applicable taxes, and any event fees. Prices are in U.S. dollars.
Automatic renewal
Paid memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (yearly or monthly, as you selected) at the then-current price, and your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the renewal date. For annual plans, we will email you a reminder before renewal. If the price is changing, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel before the new price applies. You can cancel online at any time from your account.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law, membership fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend paid access until it succeeds.
EU and UK consumers: right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may withdraw from a membership purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because membership gives immediate access to digital content, you will be asked at checkout to request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access to the digital content begins. If you have not accessed any member content, contact us within 14 days for a full refund.
Upgrades and downgrades
You may change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and may be prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
4. Events, Continuing Education, and Recordings
Registration
Event registrations (in-person and online) are sold through the Site and our membership platform. Member pricing requires an active paid membership at the time of purchase. Registrations are for the named attendee only and may be transferred to another person only with our written approval.
Event cancellations and changes
By you: [Insert event refund schedule, for example: full refund less a processing fee up to 30 days before the event; 50% refund 14 to 29 days before; no refund within 14 days. Credit toward a future event may be offered instead.] Specific events may state different terms at registration, which will control.
By IGNITE: We may change speakers, agendas, formats, or venues. If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee or, if you prefer, a credit. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs you incur.
Circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather, disease outbreaks affecting people or horses, or venue closures) may require postponement, a move to an online format, or cancellation, with a credit or refund as we reasonably determine.
Conduct and safety at events
Attendees must follow venue rules, safety instructions, and biosecurity requirements, including at any live horse demonstrations. Being around horses carries inherent risks. You attend at your own risk and agree to follow the directions of event staff and handlers. We may remove anyone whose conduct is unsafe, harassing, or disruptive, without refund.
Continuing education (CE)
Where an event or course is approved for CE (for example by RACE), credit is awarded only for verified attendance or completion as required by the accrediting body. Acceptance of credit is determined by your licensing board, and it is your responsibility to confirm that credit meets your requirements. CE availability may vary by event.
Photography and recordings
We record and photograph many events and sessions for our on-demand library, promotion, and archives. By attending or presenting, you consent to being photographed and recorded and to IGNITE's use of those images and recordings, including your name, likeness, voice, and questions, in any media, without compensation. If you do not wish to appear, tell event staff at check-in and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you. Attendees may not record sessions without permission.
5. Our Content and Your License
All content on the Services, including videos, presentations, slides, podcasts, articles, course materials, graphics, logos, and the IGNITE name and marks, is owned by IGNITE or our speakers, partners, and licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Subject to these Terms and an active membership where required, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the content for your own professional education and non-commercial use. You may not:
download, copy, screen-record, or redistribute videos or materials, except where we expressly provide a download feature;
share, sell, sublicense, publicly perform, or post content on other websites, social media, or learning platforms;
use content to teach courses, train staff in bulk, or create derivative products without our written permission;
remove copyright notices or watermarks; or
use the content, or scrape the Services, to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
You may share brief excerpts with attribution to IGNITE for non-commercial discussion. Speaker views are their own and do not necessarily reflect IGNITE's positions or those of our sponsors.
6. Acceptable Use
When using the Services, including any community or networking features, you agree not to:
post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or infringes others' rights;
share confidential client, patient, or owner information without permission;
send spam, unsolicited promotions, or solicit members for commercial purposes without our consent;
impersonate any person or misrepresent your credentials;
interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems, or introduce malware; or
use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Services.
7. Your Submissions
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as comments, questions, case discussions, survey responses, or presentations ("Submissions"). You grant IGNITE a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, display, and distribute your Submissions in connection with operating and promoting the Services and our educational mission. You confirm that you have the rights to your Submissions and that they do not violate these Terms. Speakers and presenters may also be subject to a separate speaker agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.
8. Educational Purpose; Not Veterinary or Medical Advice
IGNITE content is provided for general educational purposes for professionals and others involved in the care of equine athletes. It is not veterinary, medical, physical therapy, or legal advice, and does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. Treatments, products, and emerging technologies discussed (including orthobiologics, regenerative therapies, and off-label uses) may not be approved in your jurisdiction or suitable for a particular animal. Always rely on the independent judgment of a licensed veterinarian who has examined the animal, and follow applicable laws, competition rules, and medication regulations. Research findings are shared as they develop and may change.
Some content is sponsored or delivered in partnership with companies that sell products or services. We identify sponsored content, and a sponsorship is not an endorsement of any product by IGNITE.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
We operate the Services using third-party platforms, including Squarespace, MemberSpace, Stripe, Zapier, Mailchimp, Vimeo, and video conferencing providers. Your use of features those providers deliver may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services, or for websites we link to, and outages or changes by those providers may temporarily affect the Services.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITE AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, SPEAKERS, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR ANY INJURY TO OR LOSS OF ANY ANIMAL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES OR CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or, for consumers in the EEA and UK, your statutory rights.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IGNITE and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and speakers from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your Submissions, your misuse of the Services or content, or your treatment of any animal.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access, with notice where practical, if you breach these Terms (including account sharing or unauthorized copying of content), fail to pay, or use the Services in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for IGNITE or others. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund. We may also discontinue any plan, feature, or content; if we discontinue a paid plan entirely, we will refund the unused portion of your prepaid fee. Sections 5 through 12 and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any claim that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and you and IGNITE consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead.
Consumers in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify members by email or in the member area at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes apply from your next renewal or purchase. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect; continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any terms shown at checkout for a specific event make up the entire agreement between you and IGNITE about the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor organization. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your account.
